In Portland, there were 2 townhouses, 8 condos, and 67 homes sold last week. Popping up on our radar are three pretty hip homes: two in the southeast that sold quickly and that eclectic & funky one in the Northwest that we were crushing on a couple weeks ago.
Two months and twice pending was all it took for this hip Victorian home to be sold for $215K. The 1-bedroom, 1-bath home includes a modern style kitchen, hip mid-century accents in the living areas, and a glass tile Japanese soaking tub in the bathroom.
The exposed beam situation in the kitchen is what got my attention on this 2,000 square foot Craftsman that went under contract for $341K after just 3 days on the MLS. It contains 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and lots of character but no yard.
Listed for $950K in August, this renovated Craftsman went under contract mid-October and then quickly closed for $825K. And that’s clearly too short of a time for us to get over our crush on the eclectic and funky style of this now urban modern in the Northwest.
