In Portland, there were 5 townhouses, 10 condos, and 68 homes that closed sales in the past week. Notable this week are the many newer construction condos (with great modern interiors) whose keys passed to new owners.
This 2,015 square foot, 2-bedroom condo at Atwater Place Condos sold for $780K ($387/sf) — the highest-priced sale for the week (even higher than any houses sold). Atwater Place was built in 2007 and is a LEED Gold-certified building in the South Waterfront. It looks like there are currently 27 units for sale or under contract in this building with prices per square foot that range from $248/sf to $637/sf.
Also on the South Waterfront in the Meriwether is this 1,200 square foot, 1-bedroom condo that sold for $400K ($320/sf). Built in 2006, this building is also LEED Gold-certified and appears to have about 7 units for sale or under contract at the time of this writing.
We haven’t seen too many condos with exposed brick so that alone makes this 2bd/2b in Clinton Condos worth mentioning. But I’m also seriously crushing on the kitchen combo of white and wood cabinets and that wall of prints in the bedroom. The 1,121 square foot condo was originally purchased for $356K in 2008 and then sold last week for $297K after about 6 months on the MLS. Urbnlivn noted one other sale in this building in August; however, there don’t appear to be any other units for sale at this time — and it looks like this might be the first resale in the 2008-built building too.
