Interesting Sales Last Week

Portland saw 80 homes, 18 condos, and 6 townhouses sold last week. In all, that totals 104 closed sales and is a mighty fine number for the week. This week’s mighty fine picks from the list include one crush-worthy condo at The Sunrose, an award-winning skinny lot home near Wilshire Park, and at the high end of new construction homes is this Forest Heights, um, manor (?!).

I’m pretty much going to have a permanent crush on The Sunrose so you might as well get used to hearing about these flats on Portland’s Restaurant Row — starting with this 4th floor unit. For $375K, the lucky new owner purchased 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, and 1,281 square feet of condo featuring white oak floors, interesting outdoor space, and posh bathrooms.

You know what else we crush on at Urbnlivn? Earth Advantage certified homes such as this skinny lot design by Vargas-Greenan Architecture that received a People’s Choice award in 2007 when it was built. The 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home contains 1,516 square feet and most recently sold for $306K. Its design and layout include notable features that are explained in this video.

And then there’s this veritable Tudor-style stronghold that sold for $735K.The newly-constructed, 4,300 square foot home is complete with many built-ins, extensive hardwood floors, a butler’s pantry, and 8′ solid core doors. Plus, the loft-style great room inside this 5-bedroom residence is just plain awesome.
