There are 80 open houses in and around Portland this weekend, and only six of those are condos or townhouses. So how about we take a look at Craftsman homes that are recently listed and strutting their stuff this weekend?
4607 NE Garfield Ave
This 2011-built Craftsman home contains a couple of green features we like to see in new construction: tankless water heater and a 95% efficient furnace. It’s also well-outfitted with 4-bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and nearly 3,800 square feet. Listed at just under $400K, it has come down in price $50K since it was listed at the beginning of July.
4026 N Concord Ave
Built over 100 years earlier is this 1910 Four Square home in Overlook. Also imbued with craftsman style and what appears to be hardwoods throughout its 3,200 square feet — we’re digging the vintage bathroom fixtures (claw foot tub!) and that studio attic space. Offered at $460K, this home contains 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths.
1826 N Farragut St
Billed as a zen-like Craftsman, this 3-bedroom, 2-bath home has an interior detail that appeals to the loft-lover in me: vaulted ceilings with exposed beams in the remodeled upstairs. The period mill work, hardwood floors, and updated bathrooms round out this potential purchase in Kenton offered at $330K.
